Lost Posts 2.0

I have not gotten the time from my last update to this current one. I've been either too held up by work and family or getting enough rest to last through the week. Even during the weekends, i might have to consider spending some time and preparing for the upcoming week's work. For now, i realize that i can survive on just 5hours of sleep each day, even during the weekends where i have to meet friends for breakfast. It all boils down to time management on my side which i am still learning to cope with.

People always say that 24 hours a day is never enough. I always believe that giving an additional hours would never solve the problem as you would still ask for more. People in the working industry are always hungry for time. We want things to be efficient, so we can work less yet produce more. We want things to be simple, so we do not need think long and hard. We want things to be fast, so we can have more time for ourselves and our family. In the end, if everyone wants all these, who will be there to do the otherwise?

I have learn that in this job, it's about handling multiple projects. My senior has been stressing himself out for taking on too many projects by himself. In the end, he is very capable but is burning out very soon as well. Even as i type this, he is being haunted by the ghosts of work. I seriously hope he is enjoying himself and not come back feeling the same.

Meanwhile, back to what I have done. I'm currently spearheading one project all alone. I'll be juggling another two which one of them has just landed on my plate. The one I am spearheading will be a tough one where i will have to learn the software and make sure it meets the client's requirements. As of now, it seems like i'm unable to do so... But i will see what i can do and provide a suitable workaround for the client.

As for the other two... All i can say is, i got only two hands and one small head. I can only focus on one project at one time. I'll possibly raise red flags very soon. :(
